macOS beta · 0.5

Scan Discord in a language you understand.

Translations sit over the original Discord messages. Speakers, timestamps and reply context stay in place. Choose source and target languages independently for multilingual community reading.

For Apple silicon and macOS 15 or newer. Free to download. macOS may ask to download a language pack when you first use a pair.

Current limits

Version 0.5 is a beta.

  • It reads visible chat UI in the current Discord window. No Discord password or bot token is needed, and it never sends messages.
  • It uses macOS Accessibility for text and position, and Apple's system translation models for the translations. The current code does not save chat logs or use a translation server.
  • Available language pairs depend on macOS support. Text inside images, some grouped messages and complex embeds may be missed.
  • The ZIP has an ad-hoc signature and is not Apple notarized. macOS may require an explicit first open in Finder. Source and build instructions are on GitHub.
